Market Appraisal

A market appraisal is more than just a valuation of your property. One of our negotiators will use up-to-date market analysis coupled with their keen local knowledge to help decide how best to market your property. Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

Formal/Informal Valuations

We undertake formal and informal valuations for a wide range of clients. Both types of valuation require great attention to detail and the ability to accurately record all the aspects which will affect a property or land value. These reports are carried out in accordance with RICS Standards.

Formal valuations are often required after an event, such as obtaining probate for inheritance/ capital gains tax, or matrimonial dispute valuations in connection with the sale or transfer of assets.

Expert Witness Reports

In England and Wales, under the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 (CPR), an expert witness is required to be independent and address his or her expert report to the Court. A witness may be jointly instructed by both sides if the parties agree to this, especially in cases where the liability is relatively small.

Leasehold Extension

Corbens are experienced in the preparation of valuations required for lease extensions under the provisions of the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended). We are pleased to have assisted many residents in acquiring the freehold of their property under the requisite legislation and after service of notice.

Alternative Dispute Resolution Services
